Dear Evan Hansen stars (and recent fiancés) Ben Platt and Noah Galvin's film Theater Camp has set a world premiere via Sundance Film Festival, which will run in-person January 19–29, 2023. The film is among the titles that will also be available for at-home streaming beginning January 24.

The film is co-written by Platt, Galvin, Molly Gordon, and Nick Lieberman, with Platt, Galvin, and Gordon also co-starring alongside Jimmy Tatro, Patti Harrison, Ayo Edebiri, and Amy Sedaris. Gordon and Lieberman are co-directors.

Inspired by the foursome's 2020 short film of the same nameTheater Camp follows the eccentric staff of a rundown theatre camp in upstate New York as they come together with a less-than-theatrically-inclined member of the camp family to keep the program going following the sudden absence of the beloved founder. Production on the feature version commenced last summer.
