LAST CHANCE→ Tony nominee Stephen McKinley Henderson stars in Stephen Adly Guirgis' latest observations on the colorful denizens of New York — and all their baggage — in Between Riverside and Crazy. Henderson plays "Pops," a wheel chair-bound widower hanging on (with all his might) to a spacious rent-controlled Riverside Drive apartment, while his landlord, family and co-workers try to convince him to move on. LAST CHANCE→ Disney's stage version of the 1992 film "Newsies" seizes its final night on Broadway. Corey Cott stars as Jack Kelly, a street kid who leads a band of dancing newboys in a strike against publishing magnates Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst. The musical features a beloved score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, which includes the hits "Seize the Day," "Santa Fe" and "Once and For All." LAST CHANCE→ Another film-to-stage musical, Bullets Over Broadway, takes its last Broadway bow. Marin Mazzie, Zach Braff, Nick Cordero, Betsy Wolfe and the always hilarious Brooks Ashmanskas comprise the company of this Susan Stroman-helmed splashy makeover of Woody Allen's ode to the Ziegfeld era — replete with gangsters, mols, showgirls and dancing hotdogs. WATCH→ TV's biggest night gets its requisite bit of Broadway dazzle at this year's 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The HBO version of Larry Kramer's Tony-winning opus "The Normal Heart" earned 16 nominations, including acting nods for stars Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, Jim Parsons, Alfred Molina and Tony winner Joe Mantello. Other Tony winners in the race for an Emmy this year include Bryan Cranston, Kevin Spacey, Maggie Smith, Christine Baranski, Mandy Patinkin, Robert Morse, Cicely Tyson and Nathan Lane. "The Sound of Music Live!" received four nominations, including one for Rob Ashford. Tony winner Billy Crystal will pay tribute to his Comic Relief cohost, Robin Williams, during the telecast. PREVIEWS→ James Earl Jones, Rose Byrne and Elizabeth Ashley star in the first revival of Kaufman and Hart's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, You Can't Take It With You, to hit Broadway in three decades. Joining the above in the madcap comedy about the coming together of two eccentric families are some of Broadway's funniest ladies — Kristine Nielsen, Annaleigh Ashford and Julie Halston.
