Tony Awards Stars From Parade, Some Like It Hot, and Shucked to Join Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hamilton Cast for May 26 Ham4Ham

The musical's "show before the show" series has been revived in support of this year's Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical Tony nominees.

Parade, Shucked, and Some Like It Hot

Are you ready for another round of Ham4Ham? Host Lin-Manuel Miranda not-so-subtly announced the lineup for the May 26 concert on his instagram May 24, and it is jam-packed with more of this season's newest (and most Tony-nominated) shows.

The series, which was revived this year in support of the Tony nominees for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical, will welcome Parade, Some Like It Hot, and Shucked to its lineup. Previous participants of the revived series have included Sweeney Todd, Kimberly AkimboCamelot, and an appearance by the stars of A Doll's House, Jessica Chastain and Arian Moayed.

At the May 19 performance, Miranda announced that there would be three additional performances on May 26, June 2, and June 9 to celebrate the nominees for Best Musical and Best Revival ahead of the June 11 Tony Awards. All Ham4Hams are presented on the steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre beginning at 4 PM ET. It is unclear if the program will include the nominees for Best Revival of a Play serving as additional emcees, in light of Chastain and Moayed's presence at the May 19 performance.

The outdoor impromptu concert series Ham4Ham was a mainstay of the megamusical Hamilton in the year following its starry 2015 premiere on Broadway, with composer and star Miranda greeting hopefuls in line for each performance's discount ticket lottery with a performance on the steps of the theatre, sometimes improvised, and often including guests from their neighboring shows.
