Tony nominee Shoshana Bean presents her annual holiday concert at the Apollo Theater December 4.
Bean's annual Apollo holiday shows have become a tradition, with different theatrical guests joining her each year. This year's guests include Kristin Chenoweth, Betty Who, and Alex Newell.
Bean and Chenoweth have been friends since 2003, when Wicked first defied gravity. In 2019, Bean joined Chenoweth as her special guest in her Broadway residency For the Girls.
An Australian pop star, Who is known for her chart-topping singles including “I Love You Always Forever” and “Somebody Loves You." She currently stars as Persephone in Hadestown on Broadway.
Newell won a Tony for their performance in Shucked, in which they continue to appear. Newell previously starred as Unique Adams on Glee and as Mo on Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. On Broadway, Newell previously starred as Asaka in the Broadway revival of Once On This Island at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
Bean is currently starring in the new Alicia Keys musical Hell’s Kitchen at the Public Theater. Tickets for the Apollo concert are available at Ticketmaster.com.
