Marvel, rom-coms, the 2022 Tony Awards, and now... Westworld? Stage favorite Ariana DeBose was spotted in the season four trailer of the popular HBO Max series. Her appearance was later confirmed by DeBose herself, and the streaming service. Watch the official teaser trailer above.
A Twitter user tweeted a screenshot from the trailer and wrote, "'im honestly reaching' nope i was not. congrats @ArianaDeBose and welcome to the @WestworldHBO crew!" The commentator included an image of a text conversation where they expressed confusion over whether they'd spotted DeBose or a look-a-like.
The West Side Story Oscar winner responded, "You guessed it," with a winky face emoji.

The Emmy Award-winning drama will return for its fourth season June 26 at 9 PM on HBO, it will also be available for streaming on HBO Max. The series will contain eight episodes and see the return of cast members Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Tony nominee Ed Harris, Tony winner Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul, and Angela Sarafyan. DeBose will join the cast as a recurring guest.
Also announced this year, the Oscar winner will make her superhero debut as the villain Calypso in Kraven the Hunter and star in a rom-com that's been described as a queer, Latinx twist of My Best Friend's Wedding. DeBose will also host the 2022 Tony Awards June 12.
Westworld was created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who also serve as executive producers, along with Alison Schapker, Denise Thé, J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, and Ben Stephenson. It is based on a film with the same name written by Michael Crichton.
