May we all be so lucky! Waitress stars Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippett have officially tied the knot. The couple previously starred onstage together in Bareilles' musical Waitress as Jenna and Earl, during both the 2016 original run and its 2021 Broadway encore run.
Their nuptials were announced via Bareilles' Instagram. "We did a big thing. I will just say I love this man and I love the community who came to hold us up. I am feeling so lucky and so grateful."
More recently, Bareilles has appeared onstage as The Baker's Wife in the Broadway transfer of New York City Center's Into the Woods. Since reprising his role as Earl in Waitress in 2021, Tippett has appeared on screen in HBO's Mare of Easttown.
