The 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe just keeps getting more exciting!
RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney will bring their new show, Overweight and OVER IT!, to the legendary arts festival, playing the Ian McKellen Theatre. The special one-week run will be available to fringe goers from August 21-27, the final week of the festival.
Described as an intimate yet comedic evening, Overweight and OVER IT! will be a nighttime offering, with the show beginning in the venue at 9:30 PM.
Chaney is a Scottish drag queen, based in Glasgow. In 2021 they became the first Scottish drag queen to win across the Drag Race franchise, with their season winning the BAFTA Scotland Audience Award.
