John Leguizamo's The Other Americans opened its extended Off-Broadway premiere run September 25 at the Public's Anspacher Theater, and the reviews are in. See what critics are saying about the new work, which continues through October 26, below.

Leguizamo is starring as Nelson Castro, a Colombian-American laundromat owner in Queens grappling with a failing business and buried secrets. The cast also features Rosa Evangelina Arredondo as Norma, Sarah Nina Hayon as Veronica, Rebecca Jimenez as Toni, Trey Santiago-Hudson as Nick, Bradley James Tejeda as Eddie, and Luna Lauren Velez as Patti. Understudies Kimberli Flores, Jaime José Hernández, and Juan Francisco Villa round out the company. Ruben Santiago-Hudson is directing.
