The Shakespeare Theatre Company celebrated the official opening of its winter production of Hamlet, directed by Artistic Director Michael Kahn. Performances began January 16 with Torch Song star Michael Urie playing the bereaved Danish prince.
Completing the cast of the Shakespearean tragedy are Oyin Oladejo (Star Trek: Discovery) as Ophelia, Robert Joy (King Charles III) as Polonius, Alan Cox (Translations on Broadway) as Claudius, Federico Rodriguez as Horatio, Madeleine Potter (An Ideal Husband on Broadway) as Gertrude, and Keith Baxter as the Ghost.
