Isabelle Fuhrman, Ismenia Mendes, and AnnaSophia Robb star, with Sharlene Cruz, Sophie Kelly-Hedrick, Lily Santiago, and Ayana Workman rounding out the cast. The show is directed and adapted by Erica Schmidt, featuring set design by Catherine Cornell, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Erin Bednarz.
In this version, which uses only the Bard's words, seven girls meet up to do a play in an empty lot. Soon, they hurl headlong into the unchecked passions of Macbeth as the line between real life and fantasy quickly blurs.
