Jordan Tannahill's Prince Faggot, which recently ended its extended engagement at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater, will return this fall to Studio Seaview.

Again directed by Shayok Misha Chowdhury (Public Obscenities), performances are scheduled for September 11-October 26.

The ensemble cast features Rachel Crowl (Between Two Knees), K. Todd Freeman (Downstate), David Greenspan (Marie Antoinette), Mihir Kumar (Law and Order: SVU), John McCrea (Cabaret), and N’yomi Allure Stewart (A Raisin in the Sun), and Tyrone Mitchell Henderson (The Skin of our Teeth). (Henderson will perform until September 26, when Freeman will return following directing Rajiv Joseph’s Mr. Wolf at Steppenwolf Theatre Company.)

Described in press notes as a "meta-theatrical tragicomedy," the work features a queer and gender expansive ensemble daring to imagine a monarch from their own community.

The production also has scenic design by David Zinn, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design and original music by Lee Kinney, wig and hair design by Cookie Jordan, dramaturgy by Sarah Lunnie, and intimacy coordination by UnkleDave's Fight-House with props by Matt Carlin, aerial effects by Paul Rubin, and dialect coaching by Deborah Hecht. Casting is by Alaine Alldaffer, Lisa Donadio, and Taylor Williams

Jack Serio is the associate director. The production stage manager is Ryan Gohsman, with production supervision by Hudson Theatrical Associates' Sean Gorski and Seaview/Jonathan Whitton serving as general manager.

Producing are bb² (Jeremy O. Harris and Josh Godfrey), Seaview, LD Entertainment, Playwrights Horizons, and Soho Rep.

Tickets can be purchased at PrinceFaggot.com.
