From the original Little Lotte to a seven-time Tony winner, Playbill lights up the marquee for Broadway's brightest born in August.

Happy August, theatre fans!

It may be too darn hot for a lot of things, but not for celebrating the birthdays of some of our favorite Broadway stars. So, raise a piragua and toast these steamy summer babes as they spread their wings and take to the sky. This non-exhaustive list does not count all the Broadway stars in the night sky this August. For a complete list of all August birthdays and anniversaries, check out the Playbill Vault
