Pied à Terre

John S. Anastasi’s Pied à Terre is headed Off-Broadway this spring, and the production has found its complete cast and creative team.

The play, which has found international success in Ireland and China, will begin performances the Anne L. Bernstein Theater at The Theater Center February 22, with opening night set for March 4. Performances will be held every Sunday at 5 PM, and every Wednesday at 2 PM.

Written by John S. Anastasi and directed by Peter J. Loewy, Pied à Terre follows Julia, a successful television journalist, as she discovers a Manhattan apartment owned by her attorney husband, Jack, that she was unaware existed. As Julia explores the apartment, she’s interrupted by the sudden appearance of Katie, a beautiful young woman who seems to know Jack a little too well. As they face off in the apartment, grief, loss, and survivor’s guilt come into conflict with the obligations of the mind and the needs of the heart.

The Off-Broadway production will star Jordan Allen Bell, Macie McGrail, and Josephine Phoenix. Anastasia Lidori, Carlo Marks, and Madeline Smith will serve as production understudies.

Jean Carlo Castillo is the production stage manager. Andy Evan Cohen designed the sound, light, and projections, and Catherine Russell is the general manager.
