New production shots are giving us a first look at Kate Douglas' play The Apiary, currently performing Off-Broadway via Second Stage Theatre. See the photos below.
Directed by Kate Whoriskey, the piece is the centerpiece of Second Stage's inaugural Next Stage Festival. Set to open February 13, the production plays Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater thanks to the New American Voices Fund.

Set 22 years in the future, two lab assistants put a plan in motion to change the world, with the help of a few unusual volunteers.
The Apiary was previously a part of the 2022 Judith Champion Reading Series.
