News PHOTO RECALL: The Red Curtain Reveals a New Puccini Film director Baz Luhrmann (known for his Red Curtain trilogy of films "Strictly Ballroom," "Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet," "Moulin Rouge") offered Broadway his 1957 Paris-set version of the Puccini opera in La Bohème. The production designed by wife Catherine Martin opened at Broadway's Broadway Theatre Dec. 8.
