“Maybe not even 10 years,” the two-time Tony winner said on how long shows should stay in a Broadway house. “Because you have to free up those theatres for new shows,” adds fellow two-time Tony winner Cynthia Nixon, who was also hanging out in the club house with host Andy Cohen.
The stars had a blast on the show, helped by bartender Matt Doyle, currently co-starring in Company with LuPone. In addition to Broadway, the pair talked about Barbra Streisand in Hello, Dolly! (too young, says the original Evita), Miranda's alcoholism in the the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That…, and their favorite Stephen Sondheim songs.
