Off-Broadway's Heathers revival is packing up its Corn Nuts and taking them on the road! The Kevin Murphy-Laurence O'Keefe musical will embark on its first-ever U.S. tour beginning in spring 2027, with details and dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

The production, which originated in London, seems to be taking over the world. The revival will head back out on a new U.K. tour in summer 2026, and tours are also set to launch in Australia and New Zealand next year. 

Heathers the Musical premiered with a sold-out run in Los Angeles in 2013, and transferred to New World Stages in 2014, directed by Andy Fickman. The authors revised the show for a 2018 West End run, before playing two national tours and a West End encore engagement—several new songs and script changes can be heard in New York for the first time in this revival. Fickman is also at the helm of this otherwise separate staging.

The London production crossed the pond to Off-Broadway's New World Stages earlier this year, opening an extended limited run July 10. The revival is currently set to continue through January 25, 2026.

Adapted from the 1988 film, the musical follows Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, who's on track to become one of the most popular girls in school after befriending the beautiful but cruel Heathers, only to meet a mysterious teen rebel who changes everything. Andy Fickman directs.

The creative team also includes choreographer Gary Lloyd (with additional choreography by Stephanie Klemons), set and costume designer David Shields (with co-costume design by Siena Zoë Allen), lighting designer Ben Cracknell, and sound designer Dan Samson. Will Joy serves as music supervisor, with Mona Seyed-Bolorforosh as music director. Arrangements and orchestrations are by O'Keefe and Ben Green. Kristy Norter is the music coordinator.

The associate team includes associate director Taylor Haven Holt, associate lighting designer Colleen Doherty, associate sound designer Germán Martinez, and assistant costume designer Amanda Roberge. Lisa Connell serves as fight director, with Rebecca Reaney as intimacy coordinator. Bess Marie Glorioso is production stage manager, and Katherine Shea and Eszter Zador are assistant stage managers.
