Tony nominee Norm Lewis, recently seen Off-Broadway in Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, will return to 54 Below in December for his annual holiday engagement.
Christmas Lives Here will be presented at the intimate Manhattan cabaret December 18–24 at 7 PM each night.
Richard Jay-Alexander will again direct the concerts with musical direction by Joseph Joubert. Joining Joubert on the keys will be Michael Olatuja on bass and Perry Cavari on drums and percussion. Attendees can expect annual favorites as well as new material.

Lewis earned a 2012 Tony nomination for his performance in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. In 2014 he had the distinction of becoming the first African-American actor to play the title role in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera.
Lewis’ other Broadway roles include Jake in the original production of Side Show (1997), Eddie in The Wild Party (2000), the Painter in Amour (2002), Billy Flynn in the revival of Chicago (2004), Javert in Les Misérables (2006), King Triton in The Little Mermaid (2008), part of the star ensemble in Sondheim on Sondheim (2010), Agwe in the revival of Once On This Island (2018), Reginald in Chicken & Biscuits (2021), and more.
