A revival of Eugene O'Neill's Anna Christie begins at Off-Broadway's St. Ann's Warehouse November 25, with performances set to continue through February 1, 2026. Opening night is December 11. Thomas Kail (Hamilton) is at the helm.

Golden Globe winner Michelle Williams stars in the title role, opposite Mare Winningham as Marthy Owen, Brian d'Arcy James as Chris Christopherson, Tom Sturridge as Mat Burke, Joe Carroll as Larry, Anthony Chatmon II as Postman, Timothy Hughes as Johnny, and Noah Plomgren and Jordan Barbour in the ensemble.

Originally premiering in 1921, Anna Christie follows a former prostitute trying to turn her life around. The work won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1922, and has been revived on Broadway three times, in 1952, 1977, and 1993.

The production features movement and fight choreography by Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), scenic design by Christine Jones (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and Brett J. Banakis, costume design by Paul Tazewell (Hamilton), lighting design by Natasha Katz (Sweeney Todd), and music by Nicholas Britell (Succession).

Tickets are at StAnnsWarehouse.org. The revival will be dark December 22, 2025-January 5, 2026.
