Sharing his frustration with current events, the "Homeland" and Evita star said, "I have an antidote for it all. I have a solution that will balance my participation in this world for however long I might have left to be in it.”
Patinkin then said he will enter the race for Prime Minister of Israel and proceeded to ask Colbert to be his security advisor.
"You are such a comforting presence," Colbert told Patinkin, who responded by inviting Colbert to sit on his lap.
