The international hit musical continues at the Piccadilly Theatre.

As the London production of the Tony-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical enters its fourth year at the Piccadilly Theatre, the hit musical has announced several cast changes and additions.

Beginning October 14, Natalie Kassanga (Dreamgirls) will join the cast to play Satine, while Craig Ryder (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) will step into the role of Harold Zidler, having previously covered the part. The musical will also welcome Dex Lee (The Scottsboro Boys) as Toulouse-Lautrec; Hannah Jay-Allan (Beautiful–The Carole King Musical) and Helen K Wint (Oklahoma!), who will alternate in the role of Arabia; and Matteo Johnson (Bat Out of Hell) as Baby Doll.

These artists will join current cast members Dom Simpson (The Book of Mormon) as Christian, Ben Richards (Emmerdale) as The Duke, Ivan De Freitas (& Juliet) as Santiago, Charlotte Gooch (Dirty Dancing) as Nini, Bernadette Bangura (My Fair Lady) as La Chocolat, and Angela Marie Hurst (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Alternate Satine.

The ensemble will also include Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Takaiyah Bailey, Erin Bell, Emily Bolland, Ross Chisari, Athena Collins, James Davies-Williams, Katie Deacon, Serenar Douch, Rola Elliott, Myles Hart, Grace Hawksworth, Maiya Hikasa, Melvin LeBlanc, Tom Mather, Kira McPherson, Paul Mukembo, Dean Read, Ben Rutter, Gavin Ryan, Mark Samaras, Jamie Shields, Catrin Thomas, Lindsey Tierney, Alex Tranter, Matt Trevorrow, Kevin Tristan, Ben Whitnall, and Sasha Woodward.

Moulin Rouge!, based on the 2001 film, opened on Broadway in 2019 following a Boston tryout. The musical was subsequently nominated for 14 Tony Awards in 2020, winning 10, including Best Musical.

The production is directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan (based on the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie of the same name) and choreography by Sonya Tayeh. The score features covers of "Fireworks" by Katy Perry, "Your Song" by Elton John, and "Chandelier" by Sia, among many other modern pop songs. The story takes place at Paris' famed Moulin Rouge and follows the tragic love story between performer Satine and composer Christian.

The production's music team includes musical supervisor Justin Levine, music producer Matt Stine, and music director Julie McBride. Orchestrations are by Levine, Stine, Katie Kresek, and Charlie Rosen, with dance arrangements by Levine and Stine.

Also on the creative team are scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Justin Townsend, sound designer Peter Hylenski, hair designer David Brian Brown, and makeup designer Sarah Cimino. Casting is by Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is produced in London by Carmen Pavlovic and Gerry Ryan OAM for Global Creatures and Bill Damaschke. The executive producer in the West End is Nia Janis, and general management is by Playful Productions.

The musical continues on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
