London underground cabaret artist Charlie Wood (Miss Ellaneous) will make her playwriting debut with a collection of short plays performing at East London's The Divine via Brooklyn Rep January 3-5, 2026. The evening, titled Death Karaoke, will feature Leo and Anthony, The Garden Brides, and Threshold.
Press notes share that the works explore death from different angles, including "revenge, mania, [and] tragedy." Andrea Bee will star as a non-binary Death, sharing the stage with Beatrice Su, Wood, Ellis Jupiter, Nina Bowers, Michelle Pittoni, and Elspeth Day-Collins.
Len Blanco, Charles Quittner, and Pooja Sivaraman are directing, with lighting design by Aaron Chote. David Hochberg will serve as movement director for The Garden Brides.
