London News London Cabaret Will Welcome Katie Hall, Matt Willis, More in 2026

The West End revival has surpassed 1,500 performances at the Kit Kat Club.

The West End production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club will say "Willkommen" to several new stars in the new year.

Beginning January 26, 2026, Katie Hall (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera) will step into the role of Sally Bowles, while actor, presenter, and Brit Award winner Matt Willis (Wicked, Birds of a Feather, EastEnders, Love Is Blind) will be the new Emcee. The duo will succeed Broadway favorites Reeve Carney (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) and Eva Noblezada (Miss Saigon), who will play their final performances January 24. (There are several performances in March Willis will not perform; at those shows the role of the Emcee will be played by Joe Atkinson.)

Hall and Willis, who will continue through May 23, 2026, will join a cast that includes Baker Mukasa as Clifford Bradshaw, Ruthie Henshall as Fraulein Schneider, Robert Hands as Herr Schultz, Lucas Koch as Ernst Ludwig, and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie with Joe Atkinson, Xavion Campbell-Brown, Olivia-Rose Deer, Anya Ferdinand, Danny Fogarty, Adrian Grove, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Manu Sarswat, Tom Scanlon, Eva-Rose Tanaka, Marina Tavolieri, and Lucy Young.

The hit production will also welcome new members to the Prologue Company beginning February 9, including Isobel Bates, Jonathan Charles, Shanelle Clemenson, Zara Liu, Brian James O’Sullivan, and Shiho Yokoyama, who will join Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Andrew Linnie, Dak Mashava, and Jack William Parry.

On July 7 the hit production celebrated its 1,500th performance with a special gala night.

This production of Cabaret opened in December 2021, subsequently winning a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards. The revival transferred to Broadway's August Wilson Theatre, where it just concluded its run September 21.

Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, Cabaret has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff.

The musical is directed by Rebecca Frecknall with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision by Jennifer Whyte, musical direction by Ben Ferguson, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt, and the associate director is Jordan Fein.
