Jamie Muscato and Joy Woods Will Join London Cast of Cabaret
The hit West End revival continues at the Kit Kat Club.

The West End staging of Cabaret will welcome two new stars to the Kit Kat Club next month.
Beginning May 25, Olivier nominee Jamie Muscato (The Great Gatsby, Les Misérables, One Day: The Musical) will step into the role of the Emcee, while Tony and Grammy nominee Joy Woods (The Notebook, Gypsy, Little Shop of Horrors) will be the new Sally Bowles. The duo will succeed Katie Hall and Matt Willis, who will offer their final performances May 23.
Muscato and Woods will join a cast that includes Baker Mukasa as Clifford Bradshaw, Ruthie Henshall as Fraulein Schneider, Robert Hands as Herr Schultz, Lucas Koch as Ernst Ludwig, Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, Joe Atkinson, Xavion Campbell-Brown, Olivia-Rose Deer, Anya Ferdinand, Danny Fogarty, Adrian Grove, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Manu Sarswat, Tom Scanlon, Eva-Rose Tanaka, Marina Tavolieri, and Lucy Young.
Woods will play her final performance September 5, and Muscato's final performance is set for September 19. From September 7-19, the role of Sally Bowles will be played by Marina Tavolieri.
The Prologue Company includes Isobel Bates, Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Jonathan Charles, Shanelle Clemenson, Andrew Linnie, Zara Liu, Dak Mashava, Brian James O’Sullivan, Jack William Parry, and Shiho Yokoyama.
Due to a few scheduled absences, at certain performances the role of the Emcee will be played by Joe Atkinson, and the role of Sally will be played by Tavolieri.
On July 7, 2025, the hit production celebrated its 1,500th performance with a special gala night.

This production of Cabaret opened in December 2021,
subsequently winning a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards. The revival
transferred to Broadway's August Wilson Theatre, where it concluded its run September 21, 2025.
Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, Cabaret has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff.
The musical is directed by Rebecca Frecknall with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision by Jennifer Whyte, musical direction by Ben Ferguson, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt, and the associate director is Jordan Fein.
