After 10 years and 500 episodes, Gillian Pensavalle's podcast for fans of the history-making musical comes to a close January 26. The final season of Hamilcast: A Hamilton Podcast has featured the hit musical's four core creative team members, with director Thomas Kail, orchestrator-music supervisor Alex Lacamoire, choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, and finally, the show's creator, composer, and original star Lin-Manuel Miranda.
An exclusive clip from the interview with Miranda has been shared with Playbill. Watch it above. Previous guests on the podcast include original cast members Renée Elise Goldsberry and Leslie Odom Jr., as well as stars from other Broadway shows, including Jennifer Simard.
"The Hamilcast has, without question, changed my life. I’ve loved every second of making this passion project for not only the fantastic community of Hamilton fans, but for those in and around the show as well," said Pensavalle in a statement. "I’m beyond proud to have hosted so many fantastic people who were generous enough to share their story with the world, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the friendships I’ve made over this last decade. It's so exciting that this labor of love is getting the celebratory send off it deserves!”
