Laura Osnes and Michael Feinstein are teaming up to bring Broadway music to the AMP by Strathmore venue near Washington, D.C.
The series at the 240-seat will launch with a concert by Cinderella and Bandstand star Osnes on February 7 at 8 PM, produced and supervised by Feinstein, who hosts clubs in New York City and San Francisco, as well as maintaining a busy touring concert schedule of his own.
AMP has partnered with Michael Feinstein, preeminent ambassador of the Great American Songbook and creative force behind Feinstein’s/54 Below in Manhattan to curate a series of Broadway’s finest voices at AMP.
Feinstein is a huge fan of the two-time Tony award nominee and said he knew she would be a perfect voice to help transform AMP into a cabaret supper club. Feinstein himself played the club last fall.
AMP is located at 11810 Grand Park Avenue, North Bethesda, Maryland. Tickets cost $37–$57. A $4 surcharge is applied to tickets ordered online at Ampbystrathmore.com or by phone at (301) 581-5100.
Osnes and Feinstein have been special guest performers on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway on the High Seas 10: Odyssey Through the Greek Isles cruise June 24–July 1, 2019, with a lineup of top Broadway stars to be announced. Call Judy Perl Worldwide for tickets at (844) 561-3625.
