News Krystina Alabado, Blake Whyte and Phoebe Strole Will Debut New Material at NYC's Factory Salon Musical Theatre Factory will host its monthly Factory Salon, an informal open-mic night of new works, Nov. 6.

At the 8 PM evening, musical theatre writers are invited to showcase new songs, and singers are invited to perform songs by new writers. Featured artists include composer-lyricist Justin Levine, who will present new material from Halfway Home, an upcoming Twelfth Night adaptation commissioned by Manhattan Theatre Club with playwright/book writer Adam Bock; composer Rona Siddiqui, who will share songs from One Good Day (book and lyrics by Liz Suggs) with guest performers Phoebe Strole (Spring Awakening), Blake Whyte (Wicked, Mamma Mia!) and Chris McFarland; and Tidtaya Sinutoke (music) and Ty Defoe (book/lyrics), who will present songs from the new musical Clouds Are Pillows for the Moon, recently workshopped at Yale Institute for Musical Theatre, with guest performers Krystina Alabado (American Idiot), Meghan McGeary and Cartreze Tucker. 

The Factory Salon is hosted by MTF artistic director Shakina Nayfack.
