Edinburgh Fringe Festival hit Hold On to Your Butts will travel across the pond to make its Off-Broadway premiere this spring. Performed by two actors and a live Foley artist, it parodies a beloved dinosaur blockbuster. It will run at SoHo Playhouse February 7-March 15, 2026 .

Conceived by creative ensemble Recent Cutbacks, Hold On to Your Butts employs comedy, physical theatre and the inventive use of simple props—from cardboard cut-outs, traffic cones and muffin tins—to bring the CGI-laden dinosaur film to life in lo-fi fashion.

Director and co-founder of Recent Cutbacks Kristin McCarthy Parker will direct the production, which transfers from its critically acclaimed West End debut, U.K. tour, and sold-out return to the Edinburgh Fringe.

The cast will comprise Nick Abee, Blair Busbee, and Kyle Schaefer. The production will feature a cappella arrangements by Kelsey Didion.
