More casting has been revealed for Jo—The Little Women Musical in Concert, which will be presented January 25, 2026, at 7 PM at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The concert, which follows the May release of a studio cast recording, will be led by the previously reported Christine Allado (Hamilton) as Jo March, two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole (42nd Street, Grey Gardens) as Aunt March, Kelly Mathieson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Meg March, Sophie Pollono (I Love That for You) as Amy March, Eleanor Grant (Avatar LIVE) as Beth March, and Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) as Theodore Laurie Laurence.

Newly announced for the evening are Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton, The Crown, South Pacific) as Father, Chris Mann (The Phantom of the Opera) as Professor Bhaer, Miyuki Miyagi (Beau the Musical) as Sallie Gardner, and Yazdan Qafouri (The Kite Runner) as Fred Vaughn, with more to be announced.

The performers will be backed by a 26-piece orchestra.

Jo—The Little Women Musical has music by Dan Redfeld and a book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej. The concert will be directed and choreographed by JoAnn M. Hunter (Bad Cinderella, School of Rock) with musical direction by Redfeld.

At the heart of this musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s coming-of-age novel is Jo March, a fiercely passionate young writer whose grief over losing her sister inspires a story that continues to resonate with audiences everywhere.

A mix of Broadway, London, and international stars—including many who will reprise their work for the upcoming concert—can be heard on the studio cast recording, released globally May 23 by Center Stage Records on all platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Nigel Wright and Redfeld produced the album with Brian Purcell as executive producer.

Recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios, the recording features Grammy nominee Allado as Jo March, Tony winner Ebersole as Aunt March, Tony winner Laura Benanti as Marmee March, Olivier nominee Ovenden as Father, Tony nominee Bob Gunton as Grandfather, Kelly Mathieson as Meg March, Pollono as Amy March, Grant as Beth March, Rob Houchen as Theodore “Laurie” Laurence, Mann as Professor Bhaer, Liam Tamne as John Brooke, Turley as Fred Vaughn, and Miyagi as Sallie Gardiner.

A different version of the famed Alcott novel, with a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, played Broadway in 2005, earning a Tony Award nomination for Sutton Foster's leading performance as Jo.
