Judy Collins, who had one of the biggest hits of her career with Stephen Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” in 1975, hasn't lost her affection for the theatre composer.

The pop singer-songwriter will return to Joe’s Pub November 21, 22, 24, 25 & 27–30 to perform her touring concert show, Love Letter to Stephen Sondheim. She released an album of that title this past February, which included the standards “Not a Day Goes By,” “Finishing the Hat,” “Take Me to the World,” “Anyone Can Whistle,” and “I’m Still Here.”

She also appeared in a televised version of the concert on PBS in 2016, performing numbers including “No One Is Alone,” “Being Alive,” “I'm Still Here,” “There Won't Be Trumpets,” “The Road You Didn't Take,” “Sunday,” and “Move On.” She is still finalizing the playlist for the November concerts.

Collins' recording of “Send in the Clowns” won the Grammy for Song of the Year; it was the last time a song that originated in a Broadway musical took that honor. The song was also included on her new album.

Collins, who has released several gold and platinum albums, in her long career, is also know for her rendition of Joni Mitchell's “Both Sides Now” from her 1967 work Wildflowers.

Joe’s Pub is located at the Public Theatre in New York’s Greenwich Village. Tickets for the event go on sale September 1 at 2 PM by clicking here.
