Max Wolf Friedlich's Job begins performances at SoHo Playhouse September 5. The world premiere production will run at the off-Broadway venue through October 8.
Directed by Michael Herwitz, the play follows former tech employee Jane— who has just been fired after a video featuring her goes viral—and her crisis therapist Loyd. Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon star as Jane and Loyd, respectively.
Job features scenic design by Scott Penner, costume design by Michelle Li, lighting design by Mextly Couzin, sound design by Jessie Char and Maxwell Neely-Cohen, and dramaturgy by Hannah Getts. Rachel Zucker serves as production stage manager alongside Chris Steckel as stage manager, and Christian Palomares as general manager.
Job is produced by Hannah Getts, Russell Kahn, and Danielle Perelman in association with SoHo Playhouse.
