Joanna “JoJo” Levesque and Derek Klena play their final performances in the Tony-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical July 30 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Levesque, who is making her Broadway debut in the hit musical, stepped into the role of Satine April 11, while Tony nominee Klena (Jagged Little Pill, Anastasia) returned to the role of Christian that same day.
The duo will be succeeded by Casey Cott, who plays the theatre-obsessed Kevin Keller on the long-running TV series Riverdale, in his Broadway debut as Christian and Courtney Reed (Aladdin) as Satine, the part she played in the musical's national tour. Both begin August 1.
The Broadway company also features Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler,
André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth,
Ricky Rojas as Santiago, and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini. Oyoyo Joi is
the Satine Alternate.

Moulin Rouge and follows the tragic love story between performer Satine
and composer Christian.
