An Evening With Lerner and Loewe launches the new Broadway in Concert series from Nouveau Productions and PBS, paying tribute to the musicals that have shaped the landscape of American musical theatre by pairing Broadway favorites with the American Pops Orchestra for new takes on some of Broadway's most beloved showtunes.

Featuring songs from Lerner and Loewe's Gigi, My Fair Lady, Camelot, The Day Before Spring, Brigadoon, and Paint Your Wagon, the inaugural concert in the series is now available to watch below. The concert will also premiere on PBS March 6 at 6:30 PM ET (check local listings); in the New York metropolitan area, WNET will air the concert March 10 at 9:30 PM ET and March 13 at 2:30 PM.

Performing these Lerner and Loewe classics are Tony nominee Jenn Colella (Come From Away), Aaron Lazar (The Phantom of the Opera), Jose Llana (The King and I), Michael Maliakel (Aladdin), Aisha Jackson (Frozen), Sean Thompson (Sunset Boulevard), and Bayla Whitten (West End’s Les Misérables).

“I can think of no better way of kicking off Broadway in Concert on PBS than with a musical celebration of the extraordinary songs of Lerner and Loewe,” said Robert Pullen, executive producer of Nouveau Productions, in an earlier statement. “Their work is simply timeless and has shaped musical theatre as we know it.”

An Evening With Lerner and Loewe is directed by Tara Young, with associate direction by Leah Hoffman, lighting design by Chris Montrie, and musical direction by Luke Frazier, who also serves as the series' arranger and orchestrator. Also featuring members of the American Pops Orchestra, the concerts have been filmed in multiple locations, including D.C. and Los Angeles.

Additional episodes of the series, also available at PBS.org and the PBS Video App, will be announced.
