The Los Angeles stop is the first announcement of a tour for If/Then, the new Broadway musical that stars Tony winner Idina Menzel. The Broadway production ends its run March 22 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The Tom Kitt-Brian Yorkey show about woman who takes choice and chance into her own hands as she starts over in New York City, will play Los Angeles Dec. 8-Jan. 3, 2016. Casting for the national tour of If/Then has not been announced. Following her Broadway run in the musical, Menzel will embark on a worldwide concert tour which concludes Oct. 3 at the Hollywood Bowl.
The Pantages season also includes the new non-equity tour of Annie, which will launch the season Oct. 13-Nov. 1; the Woody Allen musical Bullets Over Broadway, running Jan. 5-24, 2016; Dirty Dancing, running Feb. 3-21; The Illusionists, which plays a special engagement from Feb. 23-March 23; 42nd Street, running May 31-June 19; Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, running June 22-July 17; and the return of the Tony-winning revival of Cabaret, which will run July 19-Aug. 7.
