Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Ben Platt begins his three-week concert residency at Broadway's refurbished Palace Theatre May 28, and in celebration, the residency has announced its lottery and rush ticket policy.

The concert is the first tenant for the historic theatre, which closed in 2018 to be lifted and make room for new retail space below. Platt will give 18 performances through June 15 in celebration of his third album, Honeymind.

Ben Platt: Live at the Palace will have a digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct. Entries for the digital lottery will open at 9:00 AM ET the day before the performance, and winners will be drawn the same day at 4:00 PM ET, with a 60-minute window to pay for tickets. Winners may buy up to four tickets at $35 each, and the seats may be located anywhere in the theatre, and may be partial view.

Additionally, in-person rush will begin at 12 PM ET the day of the performance at the Palace Theatre box office, subject to availability. Rush will end 30 minutes before curtain. One person may buy up to two tickets at $30 each, and the seats may be located anywhere in the theatre, and may be partial view. While every effort will be made to seat pairs together with a full view, there is a chance that rush ticket pairs may be split up.

The residency is directed by Tony winner Michael Arden, who directed Platt in his Tony-nominated performance as Leo Frank in the recent Broadway revival of Parade.

“It is far beyond my wildest imagination to play a residency of my own music in a house as storied as the Palace," Platt said in a previous statement. "I feel blessed to be part of the theater community, and to have the opportunity to perform as myself and from my own perspective on a Broadway stage is one of the greatest honors of my life. I can’t wait to introduce my new record on the beautifully revived stage. My hope is to bridge my musical theater roots that I hold so dear with the world of classic Americana songwriting that I’ve fallen so deeply in love with. I mean, Liza! Judy! ‘Dreams come true’ doesn’t even begin to cover it!”

Platt's residency features songs from Honeymind, which will be released May 31 via Interscope Records, as well as his earlier albums, Reverie and Sing to Me Instead. Click here to watch the music video for Honeymind's first single, "Andrew."

The Palace Theatre has hosted legendary performers including Judy Garland, Josephine Baker, Harry Belafonte, Shirley MacLaine, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, and more. The venue's last show was 2017's SpongeBob SquarePants.
