& Juliet Australian cast member Hayden Tee returns to the Broadway company of the hit Shakespeare-inspired musical November 4 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
Tee, who first joined the New York company in March, is returning to the role of Lance for a limited engagement through November 30 while Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart goes on leave. (Iglehart will return to the show December 2, and will now play the role until March 8, 2026.)
Tee, who made his Broadway debut in 2016 in Les Misérables, has also been seen on stage in Jekyll & Hyde.
It was also recently announced that & Juliet will welcome Teal Wicks to the cast later this month. Wicks, who played the role of Anne Hathaway in the show's touring company, will join the Broadway cast November 24–February 22, 2026. Alison Luff, who currently plays Anne, will take a leave of absence to star in the new musical Wonder. And, Grammy Award winner Kandi Burruss will play the role of Angélique December 11–March 8, 2026. & Juliet will also host a singalong performance to celebrate its third anniversary on Broadway November 13.
Nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, & Juliet flips the script on the William Shakespeare classic, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo. Featuring a book by David West Read, the score includes famous pop songs written by Max Martin, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “I Want It That Way,” and “Confident.”
The Broadway company currently features Gianna Harris as Juliet, Drew Gehling as Shakespeare, Michael Iván Carrier as May, Liam Pearce as Romeo, and Nathan Levy as François.

Gabe Amato, Daniel Assetta, Reese Britts, Nicholas Cooper, Charli D’Amelio, Jhailyn Paige Farcon, Makai Hernandez, Joomin Hwang, Elsa Keefe, Alaina Ví Maderal, Daniel J. Maldonado, Mackenzie Meadows, Alejandro MullerDahlberg, Cassie Silva, TJ Tapp, Zalah Vallien, Darien Van Rensalier, and Romy Vuksan complete the cast.
The production also has direction by Luke Sheppard, choreography by Jennifer Weber, musical supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Bill Sherman, scenic design by Soutra Gilmour, costume design by Paloma Young, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, video projection design by Andrzej Goulding, hair, wig, and makeup design by J. Jared Janas, and musical direction and additional orchestrations by Dominic Fallacaro.

The international hit, which opened at the Sondheim November 17, 2022 following a run in the West End, was the first new musical of the 2022–2023 Broadway season to announce its recoupment.
