Brandon Victor Dixon, Adrienne Warren, and more came out for The Broadway Collective’s Project Next Gen benefit concert at Haswell Green’s in New York City June 17. The event raised funds to help bring underserved students the opportunity for musical theatre training through a new scholarship.
Founded by Broadway performer Robert Hartwell, The Broadway Collective offers training intensives for students who are serious about pursuing a career in the performing arts. The program’s faculty are all Broadway performers.

The Project Next Gen scholarship is targeted at underserved high school students, including people of color, immigrants, refugees, transgender, non-binary, and students from low-income school districts. This year, 15 Project Next Gen recipients will travel to New York to participate in master classes with The Broadway Collective faculty and other industry professionals, while also attending Broadway shows.
Following the concert, The Broadway Collective celebrated with an an after party sponsored by S.N.O.B. (Sunday Night on Broadway), a monthly Broadway industry party.
