Twelve Hours With Tracy Letts, a marathon theatre reading festival celebrating the works of Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts (represented on Broadway this season with the critically acclaimed Bug), will be held February 23 at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre.

Presented by Animus Theatre Company in association with Circle in the Square Theatre School, all proceeds from the 11 AM-11 PM event will benefit the school, the only conservatory located inside a Broadway theatre. Attendees can expect to hear such Letts works as August: Osage County, Killer Joe, Linda Vista, The Minutes, and Man From Nebraska.

Bringing these plays to life will be a mix of stage and screen stars including Silvia Dionicio (Task), Gina Gershon (Bye Bye Birdie), Jonathan Judge-Russo (The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Tony winner Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit), Matthew Lillard (Scream), Hamish Linklater (Seminar), Tony winner Jak Malone (Operation Mincemeat), Margo Martindale (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Lily Rabe (Ghosts), Andrew Rothenberg (True Blood), Thomas Sadoski (Other Desert Cities), Jeff Still (Job), and more to be announced.

First performed in 2014, the 12-Hour Festival has previously spotlighted the works of Beth Henley, John Patrick Shanley, and Leslye Headland; it was recently renamed for Alan Langdon, Animus company member and teacher/director/mentor to many in the Circle in the Square Theatre School and beyond.

“We look forward to our continued collaboration with Circle in the Square Theatre School to feature the works of one of the world’s great artists, Tracy Letts, and honor a legend of NYC theatre and acting mentorship, Alan Langdon,” said Founding Artistic Director of the Animus Theatre Company Jonathan Judge-Russo in a statement. “Our reading series is always exciting with a wide-ranging cast from stage and screen, and we are thrilled to benefit one of the truly essential conservatories in New York, or anywhere.”

Letts’ production of Bug—co-starring Carrie Coon and Namir Smallwood—is currently playing Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Full-day passes for the upcoming marathon are $90 in advance and $100 at the door; half-day passes are $70 in advance, $75 at the door. Student and senior discounts are available.
