Head Over Heels, the jukebox musical featuring the music of The Go-Go’s, surprised its July 12 audience by welcoming the band’s four original members for a special curtain call performance. Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Kathy Valentine, and Jane Wiedlin took the stage following the show.

Go Inside the Go-Go’s Surprise Performance at Broadway’s Head Over Heels

Head Over Heels is set to open at the Hudson Theatre July 26 after beginning previews June 23. Featuring a book by Jeff Whitty adapted by James Magruder, the show gives an updated take on Philip Sidney’s Arcadia, rife with dramatic irony, comical courtship, and mistaken identity.

The production, directed by Michael Mayer, features 18 hits by The Go Go’s, including “We Got the Beat,” “Get Up and Go,” “Cool Jerk,” “Vacation,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Lust to Love,” “Head Over Heels,” as well as Carlisle’s solo hits “Mad About You” and “Heaven is a Place on Earth.”
