Okieriete “Oak” Onaodowan, best known for originating the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in the Tony-and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton, stepped into the role of Pierre in Broadway's Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 July 11 at the Imperial Theatre.

Onaodowan stars alongside Tony nominees Denée Benton and Lucas Steele, who play Natasha and Anatole, respectively. The cast also includes multi-platinum recording artist Ingrid Michaelson as Sonya, Amber Gray as Hélène, Nick Choksi as Dolokhov, Nicholas Belton as Andrey and Bolkonsky, and Grace McLean as Marya D.
