Fox's first venture into the live musical business, a three-hour telecast co-directed by Alex Rudzinski and Thomas Kail, scored a 7.4/11 in metered market results, according to Deadline. The 50s-themed musical was seen by just over 12 million viewers.

NBC's third musical outing, The Wiz Live!, which drew a 7.9/13 rating in December 2015, was seen by 11.5 million TV watchers. Peter Pan Live!, which was broadcast on NBC in December 2014, pulled in a 5.9/19 rating. The highest-rated program remains NBC's first, The Sound of Music Live!, which scored a 10.9/18 rating and was viewed by 18.62 million.
Deadline also reports that Grease: Live drew a 4.3/13 rating among adults aged 18-49, which tops the recent broadcast of The Wiz Live! by nearly 30% in that specific demographic.
Fox topped the night Jan. 31: CBS had a 6.0/9 rating, while NBC came in third with a 2.9/5 rating.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
