Patrick Warburton will star in David Ives' All in the Timing at the Zephyr Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will run October 14-November 20.
A collection of one-act plays, All in the Timing premiered Off-Broadway in 1993 and ran for more than 600 performances. The show was revived in 2013. The original six plays included Sure Thing; Words, Words, Words; The Universal Language; Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread; The Philadelphia; and Variations on the Death of Trotsky. This staging will replace Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread with Mere Mortals.
Warburton will star along with his son, Talon Warburton. The cast continues with Taylor Behrens, Bill Butts, Meadow Clare, Tania Gonzalez, Mark Kaan, Maram Kamal, and Melodie Shih. Michael Yavnieli will direct.
Warburton's screen credits include Seinfeld, The Tick, Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Emperor's New Groove, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and his long-running gig in Family Guy. In 2008, he appeared in a special reading of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, opposite Jason Alexander and Martin Short.
Playbill correspondent and SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky presented a reading of the work in 2020, featuring original stars Nancy Opel (Urinetown) and Robert Stanton (The Coast of Utopia).
