Concord Theatricals has announced a new partnership with non-profit Saving Our Daughters for the 2024-2025 school year. The Little Cinderella Reporters Initiative, part of a sector of programming co-founded by Keke Palmer, will allow New York City and Los Angeles-based elementary school girls to explore careers in theatre, film, and television.

Through the Little Cinderella Reporters Initiative, girls in grades 3-5 from diverse backgrounds will strengthen their interview and research skills while working with "Celebrity Godparent" mentors, who will contribute to building participants' self-esteem, literacy, and social skills.

The partnership will officially launch September 30 with Jasmine Forsberg (SIX) serving as a mentor, followed by Storm Lever (SIX) in October. Additional mentors will be announced in the coming months.

Concord Theatricals will provide program materials for all participants. The program will also allow students to immerse themselves in the theatre industry by attending performances and talkbacks.

Saving Our Daughters was co-founded in 2009 by Debbie Benjamin and Curtis Benjamin, with the mission of supporting adolescent girls of color in overcoming social barriers. In 2014, while performing on Broadway in Cinderella, Keke Palmer invited underprivileged girls from the Bronx and Queens to attend the show. The opportunity jumpstarted Saving Our Cinderellas, a new sector of programming under Saving Our Daughters.
