News Cinderella Tour Re-Launches Today Tatyana Lubov stars in the second national tour of the Tony-nominated revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.

The national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella relaunches September 27 in Grand Rapids, MI. Prior to the official launch, the tour played previews in Clemson, SC September 23-24.

Based on the 2013 Broadway premiere of the musical that featured direction by Mark Brokaw and choreography by Josh Rhodes, the non-Equity tour is directed by Gina Rattan and choreographed by Lee Wilkins.

Leading the cast are Tatyana Lubov as Cinderella and Hayden Stanes as Prince Topher, as well as Leslie Jackson as Marie, The Fairy Godmother, Sarah Primmer as Madame, Ella's wicked stepmother, Vincent Davis as Lord Pinkleton, Joanna Johnson as Charlotte, Ryan M. Hunt as Sebastian, Mimi Robinson as Gabrielle and Chris Woods as Jean-Michele.

The cast is completed by Kelly Barberito, Delphi Borich, Rhaamell Burke-Missouri, Taylor Daniels, Giovanni DiGabriele, Chloe Fox, AJ Hughes, Lilli Jacobs, Johnny Link, Brian Liebson, Ilda Mason, Lauren Monteleone, Nick Pelaccio, Emilie Renier, Arnie Rodriguez, Caity Skalski and Tiffany Toh.

Cinderella has been updated for contemporary audiences with a new book by four-time Tony Award nominee Beane (The Nance, Sister Act, Xanadu, Lysistrata Jones, The Little Dog Laughed).

The new production incorporates rarely-heard songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein catalogue, including “Now Is the Time,” “Me, Who Am I?” and “The Music in You.” Also featured are standards from the original television version, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” “Ten Minutes Ago” and “Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?”

The musical has music adaptation and arrangements by David Chase and music supervision by Greg Anthony Rassen. Orchestrations are by Bill Elliott and are adapted from the original Broadway orchestrations by Danny Troob.

The original production ended its run January 3, 2015, after 41 previews and 770 regular performances.
