Cast Recordings & Albums Chris Rivers, Flaco Navaja, Marc Anthony, Luis Figueroa Featured on Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis' Warriors Album

The concept album, adapted from the 1979 cult film, will be released in October.

Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Eisa Davis (Bulrusher) have revealed the first group of artists who will be featured on their forthcoming Warriors concept album, inspired by the 1979 Paramount Pictures film The Warriors and the Sol Yurick novel of the same name.

The 26-song recording, which will be released October 18, will feature Marc Anthony as Tato, Luis Figueroa as Miguel, Flaco Navaja as Jesús, and Chris Rivers as The Bronx—they are all playing member of the Turnbull AC's, the fictional gang at the center of the concept album. Additional voices will be announced shortly.

Warriors will be executive-produced by Grammy-winning rapper Nas and produced by Grammy winner Mike Elizondo.

"We've spent the past three years musicalizing the Warriors' journey home, from the South Bronx to Coney Island. Along the way we've gotten to work with a lot of our favorite artists, and we'll be announcing their roles on the album in the weeks ahead. We can't wait to share these songs with you on October 18th," Miranda and Davis said in a previous statement.

Warriors is described as an immersive listening experience that follows a fictitious New York City gang from Coney Island to the Bronx and back when they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader, Cyrus.

The album can be pre-ordered at WarriorsAlbum.com.
