After a sold-out run last fall, the puppet show opened its encore engagement at Theatre 555 July 29.
The show features beloved Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Grover, Rosita, Bert, Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, The Count, and more—in their original puppet forms—singing both classic songs from the long-running TV series as well as new songs written for the production by songwriters Tony winner Tom Kitt (Almost Famous), Tony nominee Helen Park (KPOP), and Nate Edmondson.
Sesame Street the Musical will bring fun for all ages through October 29.
The show is produced by Rockefeller Productions, whose previous works include Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, Paddington Gets in a Jam, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
