Once More, With Feeling, the 2001 musical episode of cult-favorite series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will be performed live in concert at The Rat NYC November 19 and December 9. LaRena Iocco is directing, with music direction by Billy Blair.
Along with both Iocco and Blair, the cast will feature Andrea Janine Bernardo, Emily Enden, Carina Gravante, Margaret Hall, Danielle Kirshenblat, Myles McHale, Rachel Robins, Evan Michael Smith, Allison St. Rock, Sam Underwood, and Johnny Vorsteg.
The original episode began a trend in early-aughts musical episodes in TV series, following the residents of Sunnydale falling under a curse that drives them to burst into song and dance while revealing their innermost secrets. The episode has since become a fan-favorite, featuring songs written by series creator Joss Whedon.
