Richard Zavaglia, seen on Broadway in Chapter Two and Passione, will star in the title role of the Riverside Theatre production of Eric Simonson's football-themed drama Lombardi.
Directed by Allen D. Cornell, performances are scheduled for January 30-February 18 on the Stark Stage in Riverside, Florida.
Joining Zavaglia will be Denise Cormier as Marie Lombardi, Greg Fallick as Michael McCormick, Terrell Wheeler as Dave Robinson, Jack Fellows as Paul Hornung, and Erik Gullberg as Jim Taylor.

Lombardi deals with the ambition and passion Vince Lombardi exuded as the NFL coach who led the Green Bay Packers to five national championships, including the first two Super Bowls.
The play opened on Broadway October 21, 2010, at the Circle in the Square starring Dan Lauria as Lombardi and Judith Light as his wife. Lombardi ran in New York through the summer of 2011.
The upcoming production will also feature scenic design by director Cornell, costume design by Anna Hillbery, lighting design by Julie Duro, and sound design by Craig Beyrooti with Audrey M. Brown serving as production stage manager. Casting was done in New York by Wojcik / Seay Casting.
