Kara Lindsay announced May 30 she is expecting her first child with her husband, actor Kevin Massey.
The two met doing Little House on the Prairie The Musical in 2009 and married in June 2013. Lindsay currently plays Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. She made her Broadway debut originated the role of Katherine in Disney’s Newsies and later replaced as Glinda in Wicked.
Massey made his Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of Big River. He, too, is a member of the Disney family, having performed in the Broadway ensemble of Tarzan. He also appeared on Broadway in Memphis and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.Lindsay is due November 17.
