Cabaret & Concert News Alice Ripley and Alex Brightman Join Best of Broadway 2007-2017 Concert The latest in the long-running Broadway by the Year series will salute Hamilton and other recent musicals.

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal), School of Rock star Alex Brightman, Erin Davie (Sunday in the Park with George), and Danny Gardner (Dames at Sea) have come aboard the June 19 Broadway by the Year concert at The Town Hall in Manhattan, celebrating the Broadway musicals of 2007–2017.

They will appear along with the previously announced Brandon Uranowitz, who was up for a 2017 Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Falsettos, fellow Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Jekyll & Hyde), plus two-time Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter at the concert, which concludes this spring’s Broadway by the Year series. The series is created, written, directed, and hosted by Scott Siegel.

The 8 PM event, part of Town Hall's long-running Broadway by the Year series, will feature songs from Hamilton, Waitress, Kinky Boots, Billy Elliott, After Midnight, The Bridges of Madison County, Beautiful, Next to Normal, Shuffle Along, Grey Gardens, and other recent shows. The lineup is subject to change.

Alice Ripley has been a special guest performer on two of Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises.
